Student Employment

CalPERS collaborates with University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI), to hire students seeking part-time opportunities and on-the-job training during the school year and summer break.

Participating program areas include the Information Technology Services Branch, Investment Office, Office of Public Affairs, and Financial Office.

Qualifications

To apply for CalPERS' UEI student assistant positions you must be:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Currently enrolled at a minimum of six semester units or nine quarter units for undergraduate students
  • Currently enrolled at a minimum of four semester units or six quarter units for graduate students

All students attending a school in the CSU or UC systems, community colleges, or certain private universities are welcome to apply.
